The following details an art-book fair in Los Angeles (2018), a pop-up art-book shop in New York (2019) and released Good Taste’s first publication (2020).
GOOD TASTE PUBLISHING: “BOYS PEE ON THINGS” by Lida Fox
Good Taste’s first publication, “Boys Pee on Things,” by model and musician Lida Fox, features photography and writing by artists and friends including Lucien Smith, Chad Moore, Remy Holwick, Rebekah Campbell, Richie Davis and Zachary Chick.
The book explores gender roles, specifically male vulnerability (or lack thereof), and how it has affected us in our lives. It’s funny, angry, melancholy, inquisitive, and ultimately joyous.
Due to COVID-19, the New York launch has been postponed to summer 2020.
The book was launched at Opening Ceremony in Los Angeles, February 2020 with a special performance by Fox’s band, cumgirl8. Refreshments provided by Pabst Blue Ribbon and Madre Mezcal.
Books are available at Dashwood Books, Gucci Bookstore and Mast Books, and more.
